Young interior designers to exhibit at Index
Dubai

Talented young interior designers in the UAE will get an opportunity to break into the big time at Index 2008, a leading interiors event taking place in Dubai from December 3 to 7.

Index is hosting the winners of Al Habtoor Interiors' Young Designers Award on a specially designed stand that will feature a mock up of the winning competition entry.

Sponsored and organised by Al Habtoor Interiors, a pioneer in interior design solutions, the award is aimed at encouraging creative talent within UAE universities.

“We take our corporate social responsibility very seriously and enjoy helping young students showcase their talent,” said Lina Sadek, corporate affairs manager of Al Habtoor Interiors.

“This competition and pavilion provide a shop window for the creative talent in the region's design schools. It is the responsibility of everybody involved in the industry to encourage young home-grown talent by opening doors that may lead to that big break,” added Kim Willis, Index exhibition director.

According to organisers dmg World Media Dubai, the Index 2008 event will accommodate 2,000 exhibitors and attract in excess of 35,000 visitors.-TradeArabia News Service
