Audi RS 6 debuts at Sharjah Motor Show
Sharjah

Audi held a very special regional premiere of the Audi RS 6, the world’s most powerful series-produced sedan, at the '2008 Sharjah Motor Show,' which runs till November 22.

The new model dubbed the “wolf in sheep’s clothing” brother of Audi A6, is set to be launched in the Middle East in January 2009.

The high-performance athlete with fascinating performance and breathtaking dynamics is in a league of its own, said a company official.

The superior V10 engine with direct injection and twin turbochargers eclipses its competitors with an output of 426 kW (580 hp) and 650 Nm (479.42 lb-ft) of torque.
Starting from Dh450,000, the new RS offers all the comfort of the large executive model series from Audi.

Commenting on the premiere, K Rajaram, CEO of Al Nabooda Automobiles, said the Middle East was one of the most important markets for the Audi RS 6 as we will receive the highest market introduction volume from the factory worldwide.

'About 80 per cent of the cars sold here are fully individualised, which shows the level of passion owners put into these cars,' he added.

The other highlights will be the new Audi A4 and A5 coupe, the R8 mid-engine sportscar, as well as the Audi Q7, S8 and TT, at the Audi stall.-TradeArabia News Service
