DuPont is showcasing its portfolio of oil and gas solutions including clean technologies, high-performance materials, oil well productivity chemicals, personal protection equipment, pipeline solutions and safety management and consulting at 
the International Algeria Oil & Gas Exhibition (Aloge) 2008.

The company will also present two technical sessions: “DuPont Clean Technologies” to be presented by Reda Rebbah, DuPont business development consultant – Algeria and “Benchmarking Safety through Safety Perception Surveys” to be presented by Nicolas Brocherieux, DuPont project manager.

“With the advent of global challenges related to oil shortages, the oil and gas industry has stepped up to address the widening supply gap and it is in this area where DuPont science works its wonders,' stated Reda Rebbah.

In addition, we have created DuPont Clean Technologies, which is focused on developing technologies for clean air, clean fuel and sulphur management services,” she added.

DuPont creates high performance oil and gas solutions that prevent pipe corrosion, materials to generate electricity from light, transformer insulation that doesn’t burn, and chemicals that thoroughly treat waste.
 
“High technology plays a crucial role in cost-effective and sustainable means of extracting oil. Apart from offering solutions that support this process, DuPont has also developed several other science-based tools and applications that cater to various related fields of the energy sector,” said Anil Menon, Middle East Oil & Gas industry leader.
